The new Godzilla: King of the Monster is out and it has given us everything we’ve been wanting to see, mainly – lots of giant monsters! the new film is the third film in the Legendary studios Godzilla/ King Kong universe and it looks like Kong is the only monster in the world who isn’t going to get any screen-time in the film. Well, at least not until the post-credits scene that will inevitably set up the upcoming King Kong vs Godzilla movie.
The new movie is full of new footage. They are teasing the hell out of some sort of connection between Millie Bobby Brown’s character and Godzilla and they did not hold back on finally giving us good looks at Mothra, Rodan, or what appears to be the film’s big bad – King Ghidorah.
Along with Brown, Godzilla: King of the Monsters also stars Vera Farmiga, Kyle Chandler, Bradley Whitford, Ken Watanabe, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Thomas Middleditch and Sally Hawkins. The film hits theaters May 31, 2019.
Following the global success of “Godzilla” and “Kong: Skull Island” comes the next chapter in Warner Bros. Pictures’ and Legendary Pictures’ cinematic MonsterVerse, an epic action adventure that pits Godzilla against some of the most popular monsters in pop culture history. The new story follows the heroic efforts of the crypto-zoological agency Monarch as its members face off against a battery of god-sized monsters, including the mighty Godzilla, who collides with Mothra, Rodan, and his ultimate nemesis, the three-headed King Ghidorah. When these ancient super-species—thought to be mere myths—rise again, they all vie for supremacy, leaving humanity’s very existence hanging in the balance.
