‘The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part’ Celebrates The Holidays With New Short

We are pretty sure that the following clip isn’t part of the upcoming Lego Movie sequel – The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part, but it does make for a cute bit of marketing for the film/ a great way to celebrate the holidays with any fan of the film. In the new short, Emmett (Chris Pratt) wants to bring a little holiday joy to the people of Apocalypseburg (formerly Bricksburg), by throwing a massive party and putting up a Christmas tree that can be seen from space. We’ll let you watch the rest and see what happens.

The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part stars Chris Pratt, Elizabeth Banks, Tiffany Haddish, Will Arnett, Stephanie Beatriz, Charlie Day, Alison Brie, Nick Offerman, Maya Rudolph, and Arturo Castro. The film opens on February 8, 2019.

The much-anticipated sequel to the critically acclaimed, global box office phenomenon that started it all, “The LEGO® Movie 2: The Second Part,” reunites the heroes of Bricksburg in an all-new action-packed adventure to save their beloved city. It’s been five years since everything was awesome and the citizens are now facing a huge new threat: LEGO DUPLO® invaders from outer space, wrecking everything faster than it can be rebuilt. The battle to defeat the invaders and restore harmony to the LEGO universe will take Emmet (Chris Pratt), Lucy (Elizabeth Banks), Batman (Will Arnett) and their friends to far away, unexplored worlds, including a strange galaxy where everything is a musical. It will test their courage, creativity and Master Building skills, and reveal just how special they really are.
