The live-action reboot of Disney’s Aladdin is on its way and today we got some new character posters that are supposed to be about the actors, but are really just a great way to show off some of the CGI critters that have been carried over from the original animated film into the remake.
While Will Smith’s Genie is alone in his poster, Aladdin (Mena Massoud) is featured alongside Abu the monkey, Jasmine (Naomi Scott) is featured next to Rajah the tiger, and Jafar (Marwan Kenzari) can be seen alongside his parrot, Iago. It was also recently reported that Iago, who was originally voiced by Gilbert Gottfried, will now be voiced by Alan Tudyk.
