Today, EW has released a new featurette for the upcoming Blade Runner sequel, Blade Runner 2049. Along with tons of new footage and some insight to how they designed the visuals for the film, the new video also gives us our first glimpse at David Bautista… Kind of. I won’t spoil it for you. Thirty years after the events of the first film, a new blade runner, LAPD Officer K (Ryan Gosling), unearths a long-buried secret that has the potential to plunge what’s left of society into chaos. K’s discovery leads him on a quest to find Rick Deckard (Harrison Ford), a former LAPD blade runner who has been missing for 30 years.
Blade Runner 2049 is being produced by the original film’s director and directed by Denis Villeneuve. Aong with the return of Harrison Ford as Dekard, the movie also stars Ryan Gosling, Jared Leto, Roger Deakins, David Bautista, and many more.
