How The Batmobile Almost Appeared In Pixar’s ‘Cars 3’

Cars 3 has been out for a couple of weeks now, and the reviews are pretty much unanimous… it’s at least better than Cars 2. It turns out, though, that the movie almost had a cameo that would have tickled pretty much every adult in the theater.

In a new interview with Screenjunkies, Director Brian Fee spilled the beans on Lightning’s almost meeting with not one, but two Batmobiles!

“At one point, part of the story took place in LA and we had a scene where McQueen went to a Hollywood hills party and it was full of actors, and we had the old Batmobile and the new Batmobile talking to each other at a party.”
