The new trailer is out for Elizabeth Banks’ Charlie’s Angels reboot. In the new take on the franchise we are seeing an expanded version of the Townsend Agency that has female operatives all over the world and where there are multiple men and women with the designation of Charlie. The good news for viewers is that one of those people is Sir Patrick Stewart, and he’s always fun to watch, regardless of what he’s in.
Taking the lead as the main Angels in this version of the story are Kristen Stewart Naomi Scott, and Ella Balinska. We’re really not sure what else to say. Generally, if the official synopsis of a film has to tell you the movie is being made with a bold vision, it generally isn’t. It’s a retread. It’ll make some people happy. It’ll be too woke for others, and it will probably be at least OK.
