We’ve got two cool new vids to show you today from Disney’s John Carter starring Taylor Kitsch. The first video is a short, but action packed clip from the film called “Canyon Escape”. As you can guess, the clip is all about… escaping from a canyon.
The second video is a feature about the legacy of the character that was created so many years ago by Edgar Rice Burroughs and the cast reassuring the audience that the film is in fact character driven and not a giant mess of CGI action.
deo is actually a clip from the film. To my knowledge this “Canyon Escape” clip from John Carter is on CBM first! Although only 40 seconds long, the clip should give viewers a good idea of what to expect when the film hits in a few weeks.
Official Synopsis:
John Carter tells the story of war-weary, former military captain John Carter (Taylor Kitsch), who is inexplicably transported to Mars where he becomes reluctantly embroiled in a conflict of epic proportions amongst the inhabitants of the planet, including Tars Tarkas (Willem Dafoe) and the captivating Princess Dejah Thoris (Lynn Collins).
In a world on the brink of collapse, Carter rediscovers his humanity when he realizes that the survival of Barsoom and its people rests in his hands. The screenplay is being written by Andrew Stanton & Mark Andrews and Michael Chabon.
John Carter is set to hit theaters March 9th!
