Colossal made a big splash on the festival circuit last year, with many critics putting it in their list of top ten films of 2016. Most movie goers won’t get a chance to see the film until it comes out in April, but this new trailer for the comedy about an alcoholic (Anne Hathaway) and her psychic link to a Kaiju that she is making rampage through South Korea, has fans excited.
Along with Hathaway, the film also stars Jason Sudeikis as her childhood friend, Tim Blake Nelson, Dan Stevens, and Austin Stowell. Colossal opens in theaters on April 7
Gloria (Anne Hathaway) is an out-of-work girl who, after getting kicked out of her apartment by her boyfriend, is forced to leave her life in New York and move back to her hometown. When news reports surface that a giant creature is destroying Seoul, South Korea, Gloria gradually comes to the realization that she is somehow connected to his far-off phenomenon. As events begin to spin out of control, Gloria must determine why her seemingly insignificant existence has such a colossal effect on the fate of the world.
