Yesterday, we posted about AICN’s exclusive costume design art of Chris Evans in full costume as Captain America. Today Collider received these images of Chris Hemsworth as Thor with the same artistic rendering. While we can’t comment on their authenticity, they’re interesting to look at nonetheless.
In these images we get to see Thor in full costume (minus helmet) and wielding his mighty hammer, Mjolner, for the first time. What’s interesting to note is that it’s glowing blue. It’s unknown whether it’ll do the same in the actual film. Hopefully it was just added for artistic rendition, although a glowing hammer would probably sell better as a toy…
Directed by Kenneth Branagh, “Thor” hits theaters on May 6, 2011 and will also star Natalie Portman, Anthony Hopkins, and Tom Hiddleston.
