In a new interview with I09, Marvel studio head, Kevin Feige dropped a little intel on the upcoming sequel to Spider-Man: Homecoming. In the new interview, he gave up details on how soon shooting will begin on the Tom Holland sequel, and how far we might see Spidey’s webs swing around this world this time out.
“We start filming early July,” Feige said. “We film in London. We shot the first film in Atlanta. And we shoot a lot of films in London but there’s another reason we’re shooting in London which is, yes, Spidey, of course, will spend some time in New York, but he’ll spend some time in other parts of the globe.”
It’s also a safe bet that you shouldn’t try to guess what’s going to happen in the film because it will be greatly affected by the results of the upcoming Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers 4.
“The way Civil War and the fact that he went to Leipzig Airport and then has to go back to school, informed Homecoming, the two Avengers films that precede [the sequel] will greatly inform, probably even more so, the next movie.”
The great news is that fans of Spider-Man won’t have to wait much longer to see him pop up on the screen when Avengers: Infinity War hits theaters on Friday.
