Up till now, all we’ve really seen is a teaser for the upcoming reboot of Ducktales. That’s all about to change. Disney just released the first full trailer of the show, and it thankfully still feels like Ducktales. Some of the highlights of the trailer include getting to hear David Tenant as Scrooge McDuck, seeing the reveal of Lauchpad McQuack (SNL’s Beck Bennett) and Webby Vanderquack (Garfunkle and Oats’ Kate micucci).
If there was anything really jarring for me in the trailer it would be the animation style, which just feels a bit cheap and minimalist compared to the original show, and the voices of the nephews: Huey (Danny Pudi), Dewey (Ben Schwartz), and Louie (Bobby Moynihan). I’m sure I can get used to them, but I’m battling a little bit of nostalgia factor with them right now. We haven’t yet seen or heard from Mrs. Beakley (Castle’s Toks Olagundoye)
