How do you help ensure that comic book fans will come see your movie, Throw in a trailer to a new comic book movie that they are more excited about, that’s how!
The Fantastic Four hits theaters this Friday, and it looks like FOX might be a little worried about opening night numbers. At the end of a new four minute trailer that they released this morning, Deadpool popped up to announce that his trailer will be be shown on the big screen before the movie.
I’d like to think that this is just fan service, making sure that people get a chance to see the Deadpool film on the big screen, but I can’t help to feel more an a little cynical about it.
FANTASTIC FOUR, a contemporary re-imagining of Marvel’s original and longest-running superhero team, centers on four young outsiders who teleport to an alternate and dangerous universe, which alters their physical form in shocking ways. Their lives irrevocably upended, the team must learn to harness their daunting new abilities and work together to save Earth from a former friend turned enemy.
