Just the other day, we reported that King of the Hill, the long-running Fox Cartoon from Bevis and Butthead creator Mike Judge, was about to get the axe. well, according to the folks over at variety, there may still be some hope for the townsfolk of Arlen, TX.
The rumor is that ABC feels the show would make a strong companion to their new cartoon, “the Goode Family” which is also being headed by Mike Judge. They are betting that the name recognition of “King” will help boost interest in the Goode Family. Besides, its been pretty well proven that animated 30 minute programs seem to only really work in pairs.
