New images are out today for Darren Aronofsky‘s Noah, the film based on the graphic novel, based on a bible tale.
I’m very interested to see Aronofsky’s take on the story and the relationships between the characters. It is really easy to screw up a story about Noah’s ark. It can be overly melodramatic or just plain cheesy. Thankfully, with Aronofsky behind the wheel, I’m pretty sure that won’t be the case.
As to the tone of the film, Russel Croww, who plays the title role of Noah says that “Noah isn’t a benevolent figure, but a guy who can get the job done.”
Joining Crowe in the film are Emma Watson, Jennifer Connelly, Logan Lerman, Douglas Booth, Ray Winstone, Anthony Hopkins, Kevin Durand, Martin Csokas, and Mark Margolis.
Noah opens March 28, 2014.
