New Posters for G.I. Joe, Rise of Cobra Hit The Net

I think about this movie and all I can keep saying to myself is … Please don’t suck, please don’t suck, please don’t suck. I used the same mantra before Transformers and I was pleasantly surprised. Some of the casting here has made a lot of sense like Ray Park as Snake Eyes, but other bits like Sienna Miller and Joseph Gordon Levitt just leave me wondering. Levitt was great in Brick and The Lookout and everyone still loves him him Third Rock From the Sun, but why is he playing Cobra Commander? Similarly, Miller was excellent in the short-lived show Keen Eddie, but The Baroness? Really?

Late last week the first trailer for the film was screen by critics. Apparently the reviews of just the trailer were so scathingly awful that Paramount threatened legal action to have the reviews taken off the site.
