Today wasn’t just one of the most exciting days in recent memories for Marvel movie fans, it was also a day of studios playing musical chairs with several major upcoming movie releases.

Let’s run down the list.

– Monument’s Men – It was announced a couple days back that this movie would be pushed until 2014 because of FX issues. It’s now being announced that it was also because George Clooney, the director and star of the movie, is having trouble finding the right tone for the film in the editing room. The new release date is February 7, 2014.

– Robocop – is being pushed back from February 7th to February 12th.

– American Hustle – the film that reteams Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Lawrence is moving up from Christmas to take over the spot left vacant by Monuments Men on December 18, 2013.

– The Wolf of Wallstreet – The latest film from Martin Scorsese, starring Leonardo DiCaprio is falling back from this November to Christmas.

Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit— was also scheduled by Paramount to come out on Christmas, but is moving back to make room for Martin Scorsese. It is now being pushed back to release in both regular and IMAX theaters on January 17, 2014.
