Latino Review has some new news/ rumors about the upcoming Star Wars films. Let’s break it down.
– Filming locations
We have known for a while now that Star Wars Episode Vii would be filming in London. Now, LR is reporting that there’s also a US shooting location on the schedule.
The movie will feature some desert scenes that you just can’t accomplish on a green screen. The scenes will probably depicting either Tatooine or Korriban, the Sith Homeworld. For those scenes, Star Wars will be filming in Las Cruces, New Mexico.
-Casting.
1. While Latino Review was positive that the rumor of Benedict Cumberbatch would be in Star Wars Episode VII, they are now reversing and expanding their decision. Now, they are saying that he’ll have a small, establishing role in Episode Vii, followed by a much more significant role in Episodes VII and IX.
2. Saoirse Ronan has officially gone in to read for Episode VII. We don’t know who she is up for, but we are betting that she’ll either be one of Han Solo’s children or the much rumored female villain.
