At Star Wars Celebration in London this Saturday, Grand Admiral Thrawn, a familiar villain who originally made an appearance in Timothy Zahn’s 1991 novel “Heir to the Empire” was revealed.
Grand Admiral Thrawn is voiced by Lars Mikkelsen, brother of Madds Mikkelsen, who is cast in “Rogue One.”
According to Disney XD’s executive producer Dave Filoni, Thrawn is a fan favorite and was one of the most challenging characters they had to cast.”
