New Trailer For Assassin’s Creed – Michael Fassbender

This movie is starting to feel like it might finally break the video game adaptation curse. Sure, it’s not the first movie to have a great cast. While it’s hard to knock actors like Michael Fassbender, Marion Cotillard, Michael Kenneth Williams, and Jeremy Irons, other films had plenty of talent too. Hell, some of them even have Jeremy Irons. My point is this. So far, the movie doesn’t feel like it’s going to suck. We’ve been hit by a lot of trailers that fill me with sadness and anger in the last few months. This one actually fills me with a little bit of hope.

Through a revolutionary technology that unlocks his genetic memories, Callum Lynch (Michael Fassbender) experiences the adventures of his ancestor, Aguilar, in 15th Century Spain. Callum discovers he is descended from a mysterious secret society, the Assassins, and amasses incredible knowledge and skills to take on the oppressive and powerful Templar organization in the present day. ASSASSIN’S CREED stars Academy Award nominee Michael Fassbender (X-Men: Days of Future Past, 12 Years a Slave) and Academy Award winner Marion Cotillard (The Dark Knight Rises, La Vie en Rose).
