In the battle between the Dwayne Johnson Hercules film and the Kellen Lutz Hercules film, Lutz’s Hercules: The Legend Begins is the first one out to the audience with trailers.
In this version, Lutz plays Demigod Hercules as we follow him on his quest for love. With a storyline like that, it is no surprise that this film comes from Summit, where Lutz also appeared in the Twilight Saga.

Along with Lutz, the film also stars Scott Adkins, Gaia Weiss, Liam McIntyre, Liam Garrigan, Johnathon Schaech, Roxanne McKee, and Rade Serbedzija.
Hercules: The Legend Begins opens January 10, 2014.
The new series is set for a two-episode premiere, June 4 on Disney+.
