How is it possible that a film based on an arcade game from the 80’s, starring Dwayne Johnson, looks like it could be the first good video game movie in history? I’m not really sure, but Rampage is starting to look like a really fun movie. Sure, Assassin’s Creed did as well (and we know how that turned out), so we’ll have to wait and see.
Along with what looks like a fun and reasonably interesting story, the film has stacked a great cast that, along with Johnson, also features: Naomie Harris, Malin Akerman, Jake Lacy, Joe Manganiello, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, P.J. Byrne, Marley Shelton, Breanne Hill, Jack Quaid, and Matt Gerald.
We’ll find out one way or another when Rampage hits theaters on April, 20th.
