the new trailer is out for Star Trek Beyond and we can expect it to be every bit as divisive as the first one. The main reason for that is the film still doesn’t feel very star trekky enough. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a solid trailer and we get a much better idea of the storyline, but I can see some fans still complaining about the directing style of Justin Lin.
Personally, I’m looking a lot more forward to the movie than I was after the first trailer.
The film stars Chris Pine, Simon Pegg, John Cho, Zoe Saldana, Sofia Boutella, Zachary Quinto, Karl Urban, and Anton Yelchin. Star Trek Beyond hits theaters on July 22.
