The box office numbers are in for the weekend and Nick Cage’s Knowing blew the competition out of the water with $24,814,000. the disaster thriller beat out second place I love you Man which earned $18,005,000 and Julia Roberts new movie, Duplicity, which made $14,402,000 to round out the top three for the weekend. All movies were new releases. Watchmen continued its slide this week dropping to 5th place with under %7 million in sales. Meanwhile Slumdog Millionaire and Taken are the two movies that just won’t go away. coming in at 8th and 7th place respectively.
