The bust, which measures 11 1/2-inches wide x 7 1/4-inches tall will take a decent amount of shelf space, but if you are a fan, the piece is well worth it. As I mentioned above, the likeness compared tot he Buscema art is pretty impressive. Complimenting it is a sculpting job that leans a little bit away from the hyper realistic and more towards a panting in 3D.
Is that to say that the bust is perfect? No. There’s one problem here that I find to be a little bit worrying. The paint looks good overall, but there appears to be some chipping when it comes to the fingertips. It isn’t anything major, but it is the kind of thing that you want to keep an eye on. Beyond that, the piece looks good and any Conan fan, especially if they used to read The Savage Sword of Conan would be happy to put this on their shelf.
