NYCC 2018: ‘Harley Quinn’ Animated Series Teaser Unveils Kaley Cuoco In Lead Role

Today, the DC Universe unveiled their NYCC teaser for the upcoming animated Harley Quinn series. Along with the teaser, we got the first clip of Big Bang Theory, Kaley Cuoco as the voice of Harley. We also got to hear that Diedrich Bader would be reprising his role as Batman from the underrated ‘The Batman’ and Batman: The Brave and the Bold animated series. the only other cast member we can attribute to a voice is Lake Bell, who appears in the teaser as Poison Ivy, but the show will also feature Alan Tudyk, Ron Funches, JB Smoove, Jason Alexander, Wanda Sykes, Giancarlo Esposito, Natalie Morales, Jim Rash, Diedrich Bader, Tony Hale and Chris Meloni.

As far as our first impression goes? It’s hard to tell. One thing is for sure. DC wants you to know that the show is not for kids. They do this by forcing in the word Piss and a bleeped F bomb. We have no issue with swearing, but it seems like they put it in here just because they wanted to show how naughty they are. Kind of like Robin saying ‘F Batman’ in the first Titans Trailer.

The adult animated action-comedy follows Harley as she breaks things off with the Joker and attempts to make it on her own as the criminal “queenpin” of Gotham City. The comedy will also feature Poison Ivy and a cast of heroes and villains — old and new — from the DC universe.
