Directed by Kerry Conran (“Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow”), this little online short features visual effects created by the very talented folks who also worked on “Avatar” and “The Avengers.” With that said, you know this is a very professional short. There’s not much to the story (A robot’s life story emerges during a casting session), but it does show off some really cool scenes of Gumdrop the robot being digitally inserted into old films.
