The first trailer has dropped for Paper Girls, the Amazon Prime series adaptation of the comic book written by Brian K. Vaughn. Set to drop on the streamer on July, 29th, Paper Girls tells the story of a group of friends caught who get caught up in the crossfire during a fight between warring time travelers and get transported from the 1980s to 2019.

The new series stars  Camryn Jones as Tiffany Quilkin, Riley Lai Nelet as Erin Tieng, Sofia Rosinsky as Mac Coyle, and Fina Strazza as KJ Brandman, with Ali Wong as the grown-up version of Erin, Nate Corddry as Larry, and Adina Porter as Prioress.

It’s the day after Halloween in 1988 when four young friends accidentally stumble into an intense time war and find themselves inexplicably transported to the year 2019. When they come face-to-face with their adult selves, each girl discovers her own strengths as together they try to find a way back to the past while saving the world of the future.
