Promo Teaser Unveiled For New CG Animated ‘TMNT’ Series

We showed you the first screen from Nickelodeon’s new CG animated TV series for the “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” yesterday, and let’s say none of us here at YBMW were all that impressed. We’re even less impressed with the new promo teaser that has found its way online this morning. Granted it’s only 22 seconds long and it reveals absolutely nothing but the CG rendering of the four Ninja Turtles. But still… really, Nickelodeon? This is the best you can do?

Here’s the official synopsis of the new CG animated TMNT series (it’s pretty standard fair):

The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are a fictional team of four human/turtle hybrids, who were trained by their human/rat hybrid sensei in the art of ninjutsu and named after four Renaissance artists. From their home in the storm sewers of New York City, they battle petty criminals, evil megalomaniacs, and alien invaders, all while remaining isolated from society at large.

The 26 episode new series is set to debut in 2012 only on Nickelodeon. Check out the promo trailer below and let us know what you think.
