There have been a ton of rumors about what we can and shouldn’t expect in the upcoming Matt Reeve’s The Batman film starring Robert Pattinson as Batman. However, one of the big questions has been whether or not this batman will have his own Boy Wonder? Well, it looks like we might actually have an answer, thanks to a friend of the site who spends a lot of time looking for Batman memorabilia on eBay.
While searching for props from the Batman films today, our buddy came across a listing for a piece of a Robin Costume used in the production of the 2021 ‘The Batman’ film. While the listing does not say who wore the costume, it appears to come from a reputable seller.
We don’t just mean that they are a reliable eBay seller, but that they are reliable eBay seller for screen-used props and costumes from film and TV shows. Some of the other items they are currently featuring include props from The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug, Spider-Man: Far From Home, Venom, Power Rangers: Lightspeed Rescue, The Orville, and others.
We’ve reached out to the seller to see if we can get any additional clarification, so take this all with a blood-pressure raising grain of salt until we do. It wouldn’t be the first time a big movie spoiler dropped on eBay. Remember the Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker script?
Meanwhile, The Batman has now been delayed again, with the release being pushed back to 2022. Regardless of whether or not Robin will be in the film and who will play the character, Robert Pattinson will be joined on screen by Zoë Kravitz as Selina Kyle / Catwoman, Paul Dano as Edward Nashton / Riddler, Jeffrey Wright as James Gordon, John Turturro as Carmine Falcone, Peter Sarsgaard as Gil Colson, Barry Keoghan as Stanley Merkel, Jayme Lawson as Bella Reál, Andy Serkis as Alfred Pennyworth, and Colin Farrell as Oswald “Oz” Cobblepot / Penguin.
