There are a ton of reports flying around about the upcoming MCU sequel to Spider-Man: Far From Home. There’s a good chance that some of these reports might be confirmed later today at the Disney shareholder meeting. However, as reports of castings continue to spread, we wanted to give you a head’s up on what we’re hearing.

As a follow-up film to Doctor Strange in The Multiverse of Madness, it’s already been widely reported that Tom Holland will be dipping a toe into the Spider-Verse, but it’s looking more and more likely that it means we will be seeing both of Sony’s previous Spider-Men: Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield appear in the film in some form or fashion. Along with them it’s also been reported that Kirsten Dunst will be reprising her role as the Maguire universe’s Mary Jane Watson.

All of that has been reported for the last few months, but now there are some new casting tidbits that, if true, are going to be major wins for Marvel fans. Disney blog, Inside The Magic is now reporting that Charlie Cox has been brought in to help usher the return of his take on Daredevil from the Netflix series into the MCU. Bringing Cox into the MCU has been one of the biggest hopes of DD fans since the show was canned on Netflix. It also opens the door to a new DD series, or possibly even Daredevil’s entry into the Avengers. At the very least, we expect to see him pop up from time to time in the upcoming Disney+ series, She-Hulk. After all, there are only so many lawyers with super powers out there. You’d figure they’d have to get together once in a while.

Finally, it’s also being reported that Alfred Molina will be coming back to reprise his role as Dr. Otto Octavious, aka – Doctor Octopus, from Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man 2. With previous news that Michael Keaton is back as Vulture, and (for some reason) Jamie Foxx is back as Electro, we could be looking at the set up for a fourth film where Spidey takes on the Sinister Six.

We are just hoping that if Cox is back as Matt Murdock, they’ll bring back the rest of the cast, especially Vincent D’Onofrio as Wilson Fisk/ The Kingpin.
