The viral campaign for FOX’s ‘Rise of the Planet Of The Apes’ Starring James Franco is starting to get weird. Over the past few weeks they have been releasing little clips of ape research (mostly cgi). The clips feature gorillas walking upright, chips taking memory tests and even playing first person shooters. The newest clip goes one step further… they show a chimpanzee getting hold of an AK-47 and opening fire on a group of African soldiers.
I love a good movie viral, but there is something about this one that just kind of weirds me out.
