Stephen Cobert, the host of the Colbert Report on Comedy Central recently took a trip to New Zealand. During his trip he took a visit to Weta Studios where he got to indulge his inner Hobbit fan and even see 25 minutes of the upcoming The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey. When he sat down to talk about his trip and various other things with Empire Magazine, the question came up as to whether he did more than just visit the set as a tourist or if he actually snagged himself a cameo in the film.
When Empire asked him directly if he would be in the film, all he said was:
“Could be.”
This is all just speculation, but it wouldn’t be the first time that Jackson has slid in a celebrity for a discreet cameo in one of his films.
Who do you think Colbert could possibly play in the film?
