THR is reporting that Katee Sackhoff has signed on to co-star in the next season of 24 on FOX. This news comes just in time for people struggling with Starbuck withdrawal.
Sackhoff will play Dana Walsh, a smart, competent, expert data analyst at CTU with a secret past who is involved with CTU agent Davis Cole (Freddie Prinze Jr.).
This marks the final major casting of a new regular for the 20th TV/Imagine TV series’ upcoming eighth season, which is in production.
This deal has been in the works for a while now, but because of other offers on the table, Katee actually took herself out of contention last week so she could consider her options. Thankfully she came back to her senses and signed on the dotted line. It was just in time too. She begins filming on Wednesday… Between the hours of … eh you get the point.
