As I mentioned in the last post about the mysterious ‘DUNDEE: The Son Of A Legend Returns Home’ teasers that have been popping up with Danny McBride and Chris Hemsworth, that I was pretty sure they would be fake, the idea of the film had started to actually grow on me. Now that we are getting confirmation that the film ads are part of a Super Bowl campaign by Tourism Australia, I’m a little bummed out that we won’t see the buddy/ fish out of water comedy that brings two of Paul Hogan’s sons together to save him from peril in the vast Outback.
But hey, who knows? With the amount of people who actually thought this trailer was the real thing, you’ve got to believe that there are some studio execs out there right now, trying to figure out if this is a film that could actually be made.
