We’ve been talking about ‘The Muppets’ for a very long time on the site. We continue to hope that Disney and Jason Segel have put together the first good Muppet movie in many years. Even though it is months away, we are eagerly awaiting the movie’s November 23rd release date.
Now, news has just come in that Paramount and Martin Scorsese have decided to try and take Kermit and the gang on directly with the Raging Bull creator’s first family movie: Hugo Cabret.
Cabret stars Asa Butterfield, Chloe Moretz, Sacha Baron Cohen, Ben Kingsley, Jude Law and Emily Mortimer and is Scorses’s first 3D film. That sounds great at all, but my box office dollar will be spent on Kermit, Fozzie, Gonzo and Rowlf.
