SDCC 2011: New Trailer For ‘Dexter’ And Premiere Date Announced

Showtime has released the full trailer for the sixth season of “Dexter” as well announced the premiere date which is Sunday, October 6th at 9PM.

“Dexter” stars Michael C. Hall, C.S. Lee, Mos Def and Colin Hanks were all present at the “Dexter” panel yesterday, and the group spoke heavily about what fans can expect in the upcoming sixth season.

As we’ve reported before, the main theme for the new season is faith. Dexter will begin to start grappling with the effects that his murderous ways may have on his son. According to Hall, his character will become fearful that it may be passed on to his son. The remedy for this is “spiritual grounding” and we can expect to see a lot of it as it opens up new grounds for the character and the story.
