“The Legend of Korra” held their panel today at SDCC, and present included show creators Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko; voice talents Janet Varney (Korra), P.J. Byrne (Bolin), David Faustino (Mako) and Seychelle Gabriel (Asami); as well as voice director Andrea Romano.

The biggest news revealed was that not only will there be a second season of Korra, but fans can expect the show to continue all the way up to the fourth season! The show has been renewed up to the fourth season, giving it a total of 52 episodes spread across four books.

In addition, it was also revealed is that Book 2 (Season 2) will be called “Spirits.” It picks up six months after the end of Season 1 and will find Korra trying to harness her new abilities as an Avatar. And as the season’s title suggests, much of her time will be spent in the Spirit World. There will be two special episodes in the middle of the season dedicated explaining the mythology of the spirits as the Avatar.

What to expect in season 2:

-Mako is a cop now
-Lots of Air Temple Island.
-Korra and her Avatar State
-Korra will be fighting spirits!
-Asami is now in charge of Future Industries.
-We learn more about Korra’s parents and her Uncle, Ulak who is the chief of the Northern Water Tribe.
