If you were looking forward to all the huge reveals that were set for Marvel’s Hall H presentation at San Diego Comic-Con this year, you are going to be a little disappointed. During today’s press events for Marvel’s Avengers: Infinity War, Kevin Feige told reporters that they shouldn’t expect to see a big presentation from the studio at this year’s SDCC.
“We’re not going to Hall H this year. It will be an off year… which is what we did after Avengers 1 and what we’ve done every few years. There will be a tenth-anniversary presence at Comic-Con but [no Hall H panel.]”
If you are wondering what that means for announcements on movies for Phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, it means we won’t be hearing anything for a bit either.
“[We’re] not going to announce any post-Avengers 4 movies until hopefully after Avengers 4, which is another reason we’re not going to Comic-Con.”
The good news is that while Feige might not be announcing a new movie any time soon, he’s at least will to drop hints about what they are considering. In a new interview with The Wrap, the studio head said that Jack Kirby’s The Eternals is one of the properties that they are considering for the post Avengers-4 MCU.
