It was previously reported that one of the spin-offs AMC will use to extend the life of the Walking Dead franchise is an anthology series called Tales of the Walking Dead. Today Comic-Con attendees got a first look at the new series including footage of Terry Crews, Olivia Munn, Parker Posey, Jessie T. Usher, Lauren Glazier, and Daniella Pineda. The series will also feature a story that brings back Samantha Morton for a tale of her life on the way to becoming Alpha.
There’s no word on whether the individual episodes will eventually cross over with each other, but all six episodes are stories that take place within the current TWD universe. So, there won’t be any What If…? shenanigans going on here.
