We’re not expecting Spies in Disguise to wind up on the Academy Awards nominations for best animated film next year, but the spy feature starring Will Smith and Tom Holland looks like it will at least be fun, especially if you are a Smith fan. That’s right, this is the kind of role designed for the over-the-top actor. So, get ready for lots of Will Smith yelling and lots of Woo!
We aren’t even saying that’s a bad thing. We are saying it’s a Will Smith thing. If you aren’t familiar with the story, it is about a super spy (Smith) and a spy tech (Holland) who have to work together after Holland’s character turns Smith into a pigeon.
