The cast for the upcoming Disney+/ Star Wars series, The Acolyte has been building a pretty amazing cast. It had previously been announced that Amandla Stenberg was headlining the series along with The Squid Game’s Lee Jung-Jae, Manny Jacinto, and Jodie Turner-Smith. Now, Deadline has announced several other additions that have just been made to the show.
According to Deadline, the Acolyte can now also count Dafne Keen (His Dark Materials), Rebecca Henderson (Inventing Anna), Charlie Barnett (Russian Doll), Dean-Charles Chapman (1917) and Carrie-Anne Moss (The Matrix) among its manny stars.
In the Acolyte, viewers will be treated to a mystery/thriller that takes place in the last days of the high republic era. It centers around a former padawan reuniting with her Jedi Master to investigate a series of crimes… Dark Side stuff ensues. The Acolyte is currently in production in the UK.
