Having worked at a few conventions over the years, I’ve seen the insane amount of money that passes through the venues, especially in autograph alley. It’s not surprising that it would eventually become the inspiration for an Ocean’s 11 style heist. What is a bit surprising is that it was able to grab a cast that includes Ryan Kwanten, Maggie Grace, Mike Epps, Russell Peters, Clancy Brown, and John Malkovich.
The film is hitting theaters (in what is probably a very limited released) alongside simultaneous releases on on VOD and Digital HD on April 27th.
A rag-tag group of former TV stars and comic book artists, who make their living working at conventions, decide to steal the loot from a crooked promoter and an overbearing former TV icon. Starring Ryan Kwanten, Maggie Grace, Mike Epps, with Russell Peters, Clancy Brown & John Malkovich.
