Superman Gets New HBO Max Animated Series – My Adventures with Superman

It’s a good day to be a DC animation fan today, with two new shows announced for release on HBO Max and Cartoon Network. First up is My Adventures With Superman. The new series will focus on Clark’s life in his 20s. He and Lois Lane are working at the Daily Planet along with their buddy Jimmy Olsen. It’s said that the story will be their journey to discover who they are and what they can accomplish as a team. Voicing the duo of Clark and Lois are The Boys star, Jack Quaid and Alice Lee of Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist.

We’ll be seeing the early days of Clark and Lois falling in love, Lois just finding her feet as an investigative journalist, and Clark just figuring out how to manage his double life as both a reporter and Earth’s mightiest hero. Here’s what Amy Friedman, Head of Kids & Family Programming had to say about the new series.

“Superman has remained one of the most iconic and beloved Super Heroes in the world. This fresh take from the Warner Bros. Animation team delivers a modern, relatable Clark Kent alongside a fearless, whip smart Lois Lane who are navigating the small tasks of both becoming adults and trying to save the world.”
