It’s only been a couple of days since we learned that David Corenswet and Rachel Brosnahan would be playing the roles of Superman and Lois Lane respectively. Now we’ve got three more roles added to the official cast list including Nathan Fillion as Green Lantern, Guy Gardener! Also joining the cast are Isabela Merced As Hawkgirl and Edi Gatheg as Mr. Terrific.
This is not only huge news on its own, but it gives us a peek at what’s going on in the new DCU when it comes to existing super heroes. It looks like we aren’t going to be entering a world where Superman is the first major hero.
In the end, we’re just happy to see Fillion as a lantern. This isn’t his first time, just his first time in live-action. He’s voiced Hal Jordan in several DC animated projects over the years.
