Universal is on the cusp of launching their own cinematic universe, a new thing that apparently all movie studios have to have, because Marvel did it, and… I don’t know… synergy? Instead of heroes with capes, Universal is going a little deeper, this time by bringing back all the classic movie monsters and placing them in a shared universe.
The first film in the new universe will be The Mummy, starring Tom Cruise, which has already begun filming. Today, we’ve got our first glimpse of the story, via the newly released synopsis:
