This time, things are getting a whole lot more takener….
Taken 2, starring Liam Neeson, is currently kicking some serious box office butt. In fact, it is doing so well that they want to take more… yup, Taken 3 is on the way.
Screenwriter Robert Mark Kamen told Hollywood.com that talks have already started on Taken 3.
“We didn’t start talking about [it] until we saw the numbers,” he told the outlet. “But then we said, ‘Oh, okay. I think we should do a third one.’ And Fox wants us to do a third one.”
As far as what kind of story he has in mind for Taken 3, he had this to say:
“We’ve taken everyone we can take,” he says. “It’s going to go in another direction.”
The new series is set for a two-episode premiere, June 4 on Disney+.
