It’s hard to turn on the TV and find anything remotely positive right now. Sure, there’s always reruns of Brooklyn Nine-Nine, but the only truly uplifting and happy series of any quality on the air right now is Apple TV +’s Ted Lasso starring Jason Sudeikis.

If you’ve never heard of it, it’s the story of a successful US college football coach who heads to the UK to coach a professional Soccer team. Little does he know that the team’s owner only hired him to sink the team and punish her ex-husband. While that might not sound happy and positive, it really is an amazing show that makes you smile.

With season 1 complete and season 2 in development, Apple has just announced that a third season is definitely happening. We have an idea of what we think the season 2 and 3 arcs will be, based on season one. As much as we can’t wait to see it. We kind of hope it ends after the third season and goes out on top.

Here’s the season to season 1 of Ted Lasso:

Also, if you want to see the origins of the Ted Lasso Character, they go all the way back to 2013 with these short videos Sudekis made for NBC Sports:
