‘The Arrow’ Finale Will Answer Long-Standing ‘Green Lantern’ Question

For the fans who have been paying attention over the last several years, The CW’s Green Lantern has been laying the groundwork for a reveal that may be the biggest yet in the entire Arrowverse. John Diggle, faithful bodyguard of Oliver Queen may have a far greater destiny than most people realized.

Over the years, there have been little hints. We found out that Diggle’s step-father’s last name was Stewart. We also had an interaction with an alternate-universe Flash who asked Diggle why he wasn’t wearing his ring. Ring? John Stewart? Yup! For a while now, fans have been guessing that Diggle’s destiny is to eventually become part of the Green Lantern Corps.

Here’s the good news. When the Arrow ends tomorrow night on The CW, fans will have the answers they’ve been looking for. Actor David Ramsey was recently asked about whether or not he would become The Green Lantern and this is what he had to say:

“Without a doubt. You are absolutely going to get your answers. And well-deserved answers. We’ve been talking about this for years, and I think everyone by series’ end will be very happy.“
