The Batman has only been in theaters for 38 days, but it will be available on the small screen before the end of April. The film, which has earned $735,152,000 globally has been confirmed for release next Monday, April 18, and also will screen on HBO on Saturday, April 23 at 8 PM ET. On a side note, we didn’t realize there were still people watching regular HBO anymore. Why wouldn’t you just do HBO Max instead?
Along with the film, a Penguin spinoff series has already been given a straight-to-order series order for the streaming network. It is set to feature the return of Colin Farrell as The Penguin and is rumored to be more of an origin tale for the Batman villain.
The Batman stars Robert Pattinson are Zoë Kravitz, Paul Dano, Jeffrey Wright, John Turturro, Peter Sarsgaard, Jayme Lawson with Andy Serkis, and Colin Farrell.
