The first teaser has dropped for The Continental: From the World of John Wick, a 3-part mini-series slated to hit Peakcock this fall. The story, which is set in the 1970s, tells the tale of a young Winston Scott (Colin Woodell) and his quest to take control over the Continental hotel from the John Wick films. It looks like his main adversary will be a man named Cormac who is played by none other than Mel Gibson. We don’t see a ton in this first teaser, but it’s good to see a first look at this new part of the John Wick Universe.
Synopsis: The three-part event series will explore the origin behind the iconic hotel-for-assassins centerpiece of the John Wick universe through the eyes and actions of a young Winston Scott, as he’s dragged into the Hell-scape of 1970’s New York City to face a past he thought he’d left behind. Winston charts a deadly course through the hotel’s mysterious underworld in a harrowing attempt to seize the hotel where he will eventually take his future throne.
